Day 334 of 365

Today Emma helped get our Christmas album together. We also painted and read some Christmas stories. Both boys rushed to get their homework done just so they could try to earn some Wii time. We had finally gotten into the habit of not playing the Wii on school days. But, after having a week off of school and lots of free time, my battle with the wii has started all over again. Josh spent the evening starring out the window waiting for the Fedex guy. He didn't show up until almost 8:00. Josh gave me an early Christmas present, the new iPhone!!!! It is so cool! We stayed up way too late playing with the phone.

Day 333 of 365

Today was a long day. It was very hard for all of us to get up early. We had all gotten into the habit of sleeping in and being lazy in the morning. The boys had great days back at school. They were happy to see their teachers and friends. Emma, Parker, and I painted and colored. We made cookies and played. The boys did their homework before dinner, a rarity. The boys were tired. Time to get back into our routine.

Day 330 of 365

Today I went to Target around 7:30. I was going to go at 4, but couldn't drag myself out of bed. However, the present I wanted to get was still there. I'm so happy I didn't get up early. After breakfast I headed out to Kohl's and Toys R Us. Kohl's had some great sales. I waited in line for 1 1/2 hours. It was crazy!!!! Then I went to Toys R Us. They were out of alot! The store was torn apart, however, there were no lines. After dinner I took Carson out. We chose names in our family this year. Carson picked Cooper and he has been dying to shop for him. We went to the mall, bookstore, and Target. It was so much fun spending time with just him. Josh watched the kids all day so I could go out. I couldn't have done it without him.

Today we went to Church. We haven't gone in the last few weeks. It was so nice going again. Parker did so well. He walked right into his class with only a little bit of pouting but no clinging and screaming. MOPS must have helped with that. The kids all had a great time. We came home and I went to the grocery store. Oh my, it was busy. Josh and the kids put up some Christmas lights outside. We made homemade cinnamon rolls. They were amazing!! We watched football and relaxed the rest of the day.

Yes, it is November 20th, but we love Christmas and it's never to early to decorate. Josh put the tree up. The kids helped get all the ornaments organized. We decorated the tree. It is beautiful and fun. We ate lunch then went out to run some errands. The kids each got new pj's and a new Christmas book. We spent the afternoon watching Christmas movies, drinking hot chocolate and eating cookies. It was a great day and a great start to the Christmas season.

Rushed home, fed AJ, fed the kids lunch, and then headed back over to the school. We had to pick Carson up early for his doctor's appointment. We headed out to the base. We got there a little early, so we went to Josh's work. We watched the U2's fly for awhile. Then Josh got off work and took Carson to his appointment. Carson had 1 shot, a talk about eating more veggies, and he even had to pee in a cup. He is healthy and growing as he should. When they got home we ate dinner. Josh took Carson to Cub Scouts. Day 320 of 365

Today was a busy day. We took the boys to school then ran home and fed AJ. Then I got Emma and Parker dressed and we headed to MOPS. We had a great meeting. Emma and Parker had fun in their class. After MOPS we rushed to pick up Cooper and then came home and ate lunch. Carson got home from school and insisting started in with "I'm starving". I think he is going through a grow spurt because he is always hungry and he is eating alot. Carson convinced Josh to get pizza for dinner, something that usually only happens on Friday. We ate pizza and the kids watched a movie before bed.

Day 319 of 365

Today the boys headed back to school. They were both excited to wear their new Nike sweatshirts. After dropping the boys off we came back home and played for a little bit. Then at 10, Emma, Parker, AJ, and I went back to the school to watch Cooper's Thanksgiving program. It was so cute!! He did a great job singing and speaking his line. Adorable! It was another early release day so Carson was home at 1:15. We watched a movie. The kids were all pretty tired from the exciting weekend. We had dinner and then went for a walk. It has been really warm and nice, in the 70's. I don't think its going to last though, the weather says rain later this week. That means we will be putting up the Christmas tree this weekend!

Christmas List

As you can imagine the kids have many wishlists in the making. While they don't really need toys, it is always fun to have one or two to open. They really all need clothes, but that isn't always that exciting. Anyway, for those that have asked, here are a few ideas for the kids.

Carson: Lego City, Lego Star Wars, Lego board games, anything SF Giants, Super Mario, Level 1 & 2 books, DS games, dress clothes (size 6)

Cooper: Lego Star Wars, Leapster Explorer, Transformers, Level 1 books, those little animals that come in the tube, anything about sharks, killer whales, or elephants, clothes (size 5, 5T)

Emma: Barbies, anything Disney Princess, hair accessories, jewelery, Princess books, dresses (size 5, 5T), tights, warmer clothes

Parker: Thomas the tank engine trains (Take n play metal ones), anything Geotrax, anything Disney Cars, hot wheels, dress clothes (size 2T or even 3T if it looks small)

* They all love to color and do so everyday. So, crayons, coloring books, and blank paper is always a great gift!

* PJ's- always buy bigger, Carson- 7/8, Cooper 6, Emma 5/6, Parker 4T

Cooper's Thanksgiving Program

This morning Cooper had his Kindergarten Thanksgiving program. They were all dressed up as the cutest little turkeys. They sang songs and a few kids were picked to say what they were thankful for. Cooper was chosen. He said, "I'm thankful for my food". It was so cute!
