Tomorrow

Tomorrow is the big day. Carson is going to be 6!!!

How can that be????

Preparing for 2010

I have been trying to figure out my New Year's Resolutions/Goals. I think I will stick to my goals better if I put them on the blog and evaulate at the end of the month.

So far, here is what I am thinking.
1. Read 1 book a month.
2. Cook 1-2 recipes a week from my large magazine cutout pile.
3. Scrapbook pictures from the current month and get caught up on 5 pages from the previous years.
4. Lower my grocery spending. My current budget is $125 a week but I would like to get it to $100 or even less!

Carson's resolution is going to be picking up everyday without getting mad.

Any other ideas?

Family Game Time

Christmas bought quite a few new games to the hosue. We have been playing a different one every night.

Snow

Not here of course. Yesterday we watched Nelson and the puppies play in the snow at Grandma's house.

Super Mario Brothers

The last few days have been spent watching Josh play Super Mario Brothers. The kids love watching him play. Its very cute!

Presents: Round 3

We finished all the presents from us. Then we opened the presents from Grandma & Grandpa. They were able to watch us on Skype! Highlights included Transformer monopoly, Devasator raceway, the bag of 100 balls, and of the babies. The kids each have a mini toy store in their rooms. These pictures don't even include all the presents from my parents. We will be opening and putting things together for weeks.

Josh got about every Blazer shirt they make. He also got Seahawk, Duck, and Giants gear. I got a food processor, a dutch oven, and a frappacino maker. I also got some great cookbooks from my mom.

It was a VERY awesome Christmas!

Presents: Round 2

Bikes from Grandma Michele and Helmets from YiaYia!

Presents: Round 1

Christmas Morning

First we opened stockings and the presents from Santa.

Christmas Eve

We made apple pie and pumpkin pies. The kids all put on their Christmas pj's. Then we watched "Prep and Landing" (our new favorite Christmas show). We made Santa's plate: Carson gave him donuts, Emma gave him milk, Cooper gave him carrots and Parker gave him a cookie. The kids all went to bed right at 7 . They heard Santa's bells outside and they were asleep in 5 minutes (instead of the usual hour to hour and a half). They were SO excited!
